Ian Turner has been creating graphic art for props and set design since 2016.
He works as a member of the Art Department with the Director’s Guild of Canada (DGC).
Ian has been creating graphics for film & TV since 2016 as a member of the Director’s Guild of Canada (DGC).
His work adds colour to a production’s collective vision and helps to immerse viewers in the particular reality of each show that he works on.
To do this Ian relies on research, technical knowledge, interpersonal skills and a keen eye for the visual cues that inform us every day.
Prior to working in film Ian has been a graphic designer and illustrator since 2010, creating packaging, advertising materials, books, art, and web content.
Ian studied Illustration at Sheridan College and History at the University of Guelph and draws upon a diverse base of experience to create thoughtful work.
